Avian Influenza Concerns

Dear Friend,

At Northwest Quail Farm, your pets' health and safety are our top priorities. With recent concerns about Avian Influenza (Bird Flu), we want to assure you that we’re taking every precaution to keep your pets safe while continuing to provide the highest quality products.

Here’s how we’re ensuring the safety of our raw pet food:

  • NPIP Certification: We are an NPIP/AI Clean-certified farm (#WA-298) in the State of Washington. We regularly test our flock and strictly follow the guidelines of the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) to maintain a healthy flock and uphold rigorous standards of animal husbandry and biosecurity.
  • We Don’t Outsource: To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, we raise our own quails in a carefully controlled and biosecure environment. This eliminates the risks associated with outsourcing and gives us complete oversight of our product supply.
  • Expert Collaboration: We stay in close contact with veterinary professionals and animal health experts to remain informed and implement the best safety practices.
  • CDC-Aligned Practices: Our handling and preparation processes strictly adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for animal products.

We understand that these concerns may feel unsettling, but rest assured, we remain steadfast in our commitment to your pets’ safety and well-being.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
George Barcelo
